A little truth about: Stop the Calderon Dolphin Slaughter in Denmark

Although I don’t agree with hunting of any animals, this is some more accurate information about these whales: 1) The islands are not part of the European Union – some backwater autonomous islands from what I can see. 2) From what I read, they harvest the whales and use most, if not all of the meat and by-products over the winter

    3) They are not near extinction as an email petition going around states. 4) The email tries to link to the “friendly, playful and intelligent dolphin” image that we all have, but although they are related, they are another whale used all over the world. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pilot_whale Just thought I’d spread some truth.
