ESA: Observing the Earth: Agriculture

Even though food production has doubled over the last 30 years, it will have to double yet again by 2025 if it is to feed an expected population of 8.5 billion. For agricultural production to increase, a number of factors need to be in place. These include a healthy environment and sound agricultural planning.
